The Idaho Falls City Council is planning to vote to eliminate runoff elections on February 12th at 7:30 pm. This vote will be held without public comment being allowed, and in spite of the fact that the residents of Idaho Falls voted for runoff elections by more than 68% in 2005. If you don’t want the city council to override the will of the people without any input, we encourage you to contact Mayor Rebecca Casper and the Idaho Falls City Council members immediately.
